Our Orgin Story

We didn’t set out to save the world; we simply loved board games and gardening. Our initial goal was straightforward: build fast, competitive games centered on concepts people already knew. That vision led us to the chaotic world of weeds.

We wanted fierce gameplay, but we insisted that our game feature accurate botanical facts. This baseline curiosity changed everything.

While researching, we connected with two experts holding master's degrees in communications and weed science. They were vital in developing the scientific facts for our game, Weeds: Garden Takeover. Working with them sparked a pivotal shift in our perspective.

Our motto, “Where Curiosity Takes Root,” truly came alive as we began looking past our own yards to see the impact of invasive species on our broader environment.

This search led us to a critical issue in our home state of Utah: Phragmites. This invasive plant is choking out ecosystems and consuming vital water sources that feed the Great Salt Lake.

In that moment, we found our purpose - Through our games and pins, we aim to spread awareness and show that every voice matters. We hope to spark a curiosity in you to scan our QR codes, conduct your own research, and join us in making imperative changes to preserve what matters most.
